Today we did notes on Graphing Linear Equations. We have already covered this in our homework, so these notes are an attempt to consolidate what we have learned so far. Work through the examples on 123-124

On #1-8, you will plug the information into the point-slope formula and then manipulate the equation to get it into standard form (Ax + Bx = C)

On #9-18, you will first need to use the slope formula to determine the slope, then using the slope and one of the points, plug into the point-slope formula and again express your final answer in the standard form.

Today, we looked at the Rectangular Coordinate Point system, also known as, the Cartesian coordinate system (named after French Mathematician and Philosopher, Rene Descartes). In particular, we looked at how to find the distance between two points and how to find the slope of a line.  Read through the chapter, and then do the indicated problems.
