Cornell Notes for Presentations on Thursday

Students were assigned a particular section of the textbook to take notes on, either 6.1, 6.2, and 6.3.
  1. Students should create Cornell Notes for that section, including an essential question and a summary. The focus should be, "What do students need to know about this section that would prepare them for a test?"
  2. Only prepare notes for the problems that were assigned. For example, if there is a discussion about graphing, ignore it because we didn't do those problems.
On Thursday, I will give students about 10 to 15 minutes to meet in groups, to compare their notes on a given section, and then determine how they want to present those notes to the whole class.
